Designed by SOBU co-founder Alessandro Latini, the Cesco Chair is a heartfelt tribute to his late father, Francesco. Known to friends and family as Cesco, he had a deep respect for solid engineering, thoughtful details, and timeless design—values that are woven into every line of this chair. It’s a piece made with care, intention, and pride, and one we know Cesco would have loved.
Crafted from solid American Eastern black walnut with a durable matte lacquer finish, the Cesco Chair is built to last. The extra-thick, top-grain leather seat is supported by sturdy canvas for comfort and long-term structure, minimizing stretching over time. The leather will soften and develop a rich patina with use—much like a favorite leather jacket—and can be easily maintained with standard leather creams or conditioners.
